My name is Victoria and I love to paint and draw! I was born and raised in Russia, and was always surrounded by art. My mother never liked blank walls and would decorate our home with various paintings. I specifically remember when I truly fell in love with art when my mother took Art classes and I saw, as a child, that art does not mean to paint a realistic picture but to express whatever you feel and whatever it is that your imagination craves. I realized then that I shouldn't be scared to paint even if I do not know how to. I was lucky that our home always had all the art supplies you would ever need - pastels, watercolor, acrylics, gouache,,, and paper for every media. And my art adventure began!
I started this blog partly because I want to share my art with people, and partly because I want to get out of my shell and experiment - want to draw more different objects: architecture, everyday items, peisages and having a blog really motivates me to keep up with art work.
